About Anthony Kostek

Currently serving as a Company Officer and Assistant Football Coach at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, where I develop, mentor, and lead cadets through the full spectrum of their military, academic, athletic, and personal growth. I manage the daily operations and professional development of an assigned cadet company while providing individualized coaching, counseling, and leadership instruction that prepares future officers for the demands of Coast Guard service.Alongside my company leadership role, I coach within the Academy’s varsity football program building resilient, disciplined, and team‑oriented cadet‑athletes. I help players balance the unique pressures of Division athletics, rigorous academics, and military expectations, reinforcing habits and mindsets that translate directly to fleet success. My work centers on shaping character, strengthening accountability, and guiding young leaders as they transition from cadets to commissioned officers ready to serve in high‑pressure operational environments.
