About Anthony Lainesse

Right out of university, Anthony started his career in tech as partner in the start-up Dium. He then worked for BlackBerry as a developer, where he learned new skills, but wasn’t satisfied with being so distanced from his colleagues or the final result of all their hard work. Today you’ll find Anthony in his current position in a mid-sized company as Director of Digital Solutions. He takes hands-on responsibility in a decision-making role that puts him in the middle of the action, where his skills and energy are being put to great use. Anthony thrives on being part of the bigger picture of a project, providing support all along the way, and he takes pride in the end result of a job well done. When you’ve poured so much of yourself into something, there’s nothing quite like seeing it come to life. As a bridge between the business end and development end of a project, Anthony has to think on his feet and also plan ahead, envisioning a plan to turn a client’s aims into the ideal project or solution. It means being a generalist, meeting people on their level, anticipating their needs, and speaking their language. Anthony’s quick intelligence and creative problem solving skills are perfectly at home here. In fact, home is where they were forged!
