About Anthony Lavado

I'm Anthony Lavado, and I'm a geek with too many hobbies. My passion for computers and technology keeps it in all aspects of my life, at all times.I'm a detail oriented technician, that excels in fast troubleshooting and administration of multiple systems. I love providing exceptional customer service experiences to internal and external clients, and using constant feedback to improve both myself, and my work.Learning is very important to me. I spend much of my free time working on independent projects. Whenever I get interested in an idea, I obsessively pursue it - learning all there is to know about it, before I try it. Once completed, I move on to the next project idea that grabs my attention. Whether it's model rocketry, to shortwave radio, to LEDs, or micro controllers, it's been on my mind at some point.I am constantly reading news from around the world, and in technology, to stay on the leading edge of what's new. I enjoy plenty of things that digital media has to offer, especially when it comes to new and novel interfaces for Human-Computer Interaction.I like to spend late nights with Bash, SSH, my Raspberry Pi, and the growing Internet of Things at my home. I enjoy long walks on the beach, and a sense of humour.
