About Anthony Lemus

I’m a manufacturing professional with a career that bridges optical fabrication, precision machining, CNC applications, and production leadership. I began my career in 2018 at MKS as an Optical Fabricator, where I built a strong foundation in optics manufacturing. In 2021, I expanded my skills as a Tool and Die Maker at Interplex Nascal, gaining hands-on expertise in precision machining and tooling. Later that year, I transitioned into an Application Engineer role with ANCA CNC Machines, traveling across the U.S, Canada, and Mexico to train customers on advanced CNC grinding machines and software. This experience sharpened my technical communication, problem-solving, and adaptability across industries. After a short role as a Maintenance Engineer with Heritage Foods, I returned to MKS in 2024 as Production Team Lead for MRF operations. Today, I manage QED Q-FLEX polishing systems, oversee production workflows, and mentor operators while driving quality and efficiency in optical component manufacturing. I bring a proven mix of technical expertise, leadership, and precision machining experience, and I’m passionate about advancing innovation in high-precision manufacturing and optics.
