About Anthony Licht

Senior Director of Operations with over 15 years of end-to-end experience in the global diamond and luxury goods sector—spanning Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. I began my journey on the polishing bench and grew through the ranks into senior leadership, a path that’s given me a rare 360° view of the diamond stream pipeline—from factory floor to strategic operations. My passion lies in building high-performing, values-driven teams and establishing operational excellence from the ground up. Whether leading greenfield startups or scaling mature operations, I thrive in dynamic environments where collaboration, clarity, and human connection are key to success. Specializations: • Pre-operational & startup planning (greenfield & brownfield) • Multi-site, multicultural leadership (UAE, Belgium, Botswana, South Africa) • Talent acquisition, development & retention strategies • Crisis management, turnaround operations, and cultural transformation • Strategic alignment of people, processes, and performance I lead with meaning, compassion, and integrity—drawing inspiration from Ubuntu, Stoic philosophy, and logotherapy. I’m solution-oriented, results-driven, and committed to empowering those around me to grow beyond what they thought possible.
