About Anthony Long

I have been interested in technology since I was a kid. I started off building computers with my friends in Jr. High school. Worked Residential/Commercial and Industrial construction from 14 years old. At University, I was a computer science major for 2 years until I found Radio and Television production at SLU. Double Majored in Mass Communication/Journalism and English. After graduation, I spent 10 years traveling the country and abroad as a Camera operator and every other aspect of stage production for Concerts (Eagles, Britney Spears) and Conventions.(Mostly ASME and Dental associations but also many large shows with Lamborghini, Budweiser, Microsoft etc.) I was later hired by FordAV out of Oklahoma to service the advanced AV system they installed for the Louisiana State Legislature. The Legislature purchased my contract and hired me within a year and a half. Currently, I work for and manage the Audio Visual systems for the House and Senate at the Louisiana State Legislature. Currently finishing up as Project Manager for the $6.5 Million dollar Audio/Visual upgrades I helped facilitate/design/install and test, while working my regular job at the state capitol. I'm currently open for rental/staging work around July. My most recent gig was Google Chrome Undercover Gamer VTR Playback. Fun Facts: I am currently working on my Scuba Instructor license. I'm a Dual citizen of the United States and Ireland.
