About Anthony Maglio

I began my career when I was nineteen in the USAF. I worked in a highly critical field where I held a Top Secret clearance. While in the military I learned the significance of accomplishing the mission as well as being a leader. Once I got out of the service I found a job at Allstate where I was hired as a Liability Claims Adjuster. I handled mostly non-injury claims for NV and focused on investigating liability and handling property damage. After a couple years I was promoted to a specialty adjuster position handling Minor Impact claims where parties where claiming injuries. My job was to determine if the accident was capable of causing injury. if it was, I would negotiate and resolve the claim. if it was not, I would deny the claim and prepare for litigation if necessary. I learn all the basics and some more advance claims handling skills while working at Allstate I left Allstate after almost eight years and found a job at CSAA where I was hired as a Casualty Claims Adjuster. I was part of their department handling casualty claims for partner states. This position had me handling Casualty Represented, Unrepresented, First party and Third party Injury, Liability and Property damage claims for NV, CA, AZ, OR, UT, ID, MT and CO. After eleven years at CSAA, I left and went to Kemper where I started as a Represented Casualty Adjuster handling First and third party represent injury claims for CA and NV. After a few months I was promoted to a Casualty Claims Supervisor or Team Manager which is my current position. I enjoy working in insurance claims field because it is challenging and always changing. As a manager I now have more influence on how it changes and I can help make it a better culture.
