My current and previous jobs are in customer service. My recent job is a supervisor for a Residence Inn by Marriott. I know hospitality ins and outs because I can do it all, from room service to sales. Because I get to interact with new and old faces of roaming visitors and each associate I work with is personable and upbeat, I adore my job. Linkedin is a great tool for me to achieve goals. The first objective is to meet more people. Meeting people have always been a downfall for me because there aren’t many people in my local community that gets me. Most of the people I know are “crackheads,” because they have little or no education. The second goal, finding people that I can connect with would allow me to speak my mind. I can give my opinion without feeling undervalued. Also, it gives me the chance to demonstrate my knowledge through commenting and discussion with different lodging professionals.
