About Anthony Militano

In 2012, I made the decision to leave behind my six-year career in audio in favor of pursuing an entry-level position with a comic book store. Having started as an entry-level employee at MaximuM Comics, I heavily invested myself into the company and ascended from Sales Associate to Director of Retail Operations in only two years. During my time with MaximuM Comics, I developed an interest for all aspects of a business with a specific passion for innovative solutions and business analytics. Having had some exposure to SQL, I spent several months teaching myself SQL in order to improve my abilities as a manager and assist with our business goals. This newfound passion led me to pursue a BSBA in Information Management as a full-time student and full-time employee.While pursuing my degree, I was recruited by a new comic book publisher, BAD IDEA. They were seeking somebody who "loves all that spreadsheet stuff," to which I replied,"I'm your guy!" That led me to the role of Director of Data & Operations for BAD IDEA where I continued to fall in love with data, analysis, and of course,"all that spreadsheet stuff."
