About Anthony Mirvish

I lead Honeycomb's residential sector, concentrating on the structural engineering of condominiums, apartment buildings, retirement homes and hotels, focused on the GTA and southern Ontario. I like the fast pace of residential projects, understand the full development process, and enjoy the challenge of defining a cost-effective, constructible structural system early on, so that the project can move quickly forward through approvals and to sales. My goal is always to simplify complexity and I firmly believe that hands-on principal involvement at all stages is critical to a successful project. By getting things right early, the project can be built easier later. To my role, I bring an established record of delivering successful projects, successfully collaborating with developers, architects, other consultants, construction managers and contractors. My nearly 25 years of experience includes buildings ranging in size from low-rise to 60 storey high rise towers, complex urban sites, difficult soil conditions, deep foundations, tanked basement structures, the retention of heritage structures, slender and complex architectural forms, overbuild of and vertical additions to existing buildings, development of sites adjacent to or integrated with transportation infrastructure, and the design of post-tensioned concrete.
