About Anthony Moretti

As a Regional Medical Director at Blue Shield of California, I provide clinical, operational, and strategic leadership for quality and affordability initiatives across all lines of business, with a focus on value-based provider partnerships such as ACOs, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid contracts. I have over 3 years of experience in this role, and I also serve as the Committee Chair for Credentials and Peer Review, and as a Member at Large on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Pediatrics California Chapter 2. With a background in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, an MBA in Physician Executive Healthcare, and a passion for financially-sustainable healthcare models, I have developed a strong expertise in healthcare finance, insurance contract negotiation, quality improvement, and compliance. I also leverage my skills in care management, clinical administration, and clinical quality to engage regularly with strategic partners, IPAs, and hospital leadership, and to support the mission and vision of Blue Shield of California and Loma Linda University Medical Center, where I serve as the Medical Director of Quality and Utilization Management.
