Results oriented professional with more than 30 years successful experience in all aspects of project delivery, from Study and Design Management to Construction and Commissioning Management to Client acceptance and Hand-over. Commenced career in the trade environment and I am now a professionally qualified and registered engineer with further qualifications in Business and Project Administration. Gained extensive experience within the mining, oil and gas, power generation, transport, heavy industrial and client service industries have acquired my experience in diverse projects such as the management of independent project review teams, Project Director and Joint Venture Steering Committee Chairman for EPCM project delivery in Australia, South East Asia and South America, Engineering Design Manager for mining, oil and gas and power station developments and upgrades and Senior Design Engineer for electrical control system installations, plus a variety of other mining, oil and gas and heavy industrial projects. Successful delivery of these and other projects resulted in me being promoted to the role of General Manager Mining and Metals – Eastern Region and then onto Manager Mining and Material Handling – Global. I direct and manage multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver project and business growth outcomes; retain a strong focus on commercial and financial performance and corporate reporting, together with business development and negotiation and hold a strong focus on and support for excellence in health and safety practices and processes to ensure a safe working environment is achieved and a focus on safety is incorporated into project design and construction.
