The hardest sales position I ever had was trying to convince 17-year-old high school students that joining the Canadian Armed Forces would be better than spending their summer on a beach. Many years serving in Canada's Armed Forces has given me numerous transferable skills and has taught me the importance of honesty, loyalty, trust, teamwork, and respect, whether it be in the field as a soldier or as a Sales Executive in the boardroom. As an Account Executive Software Consultant, I utilize a customized consultative sales approach to help companies digitize their business. Through detailed analysis of their current processes I offer companies significant ROIs achieved by a heightened level of productivity and accountability. By utilizing tools like SaaS I help customers during their implementation and ensure that the change management process is successful throughout every level in their organization. Owners of companies have said, “Tony, if it wasn’t for you, this would not have gone as smoothly as it did”. Solving problems and coming up with viable solutions is what I do best and that is why I am currently enrolled in a full stack software developer course. I believe that we must continue to learn and upgrade our skills, to not only increase our value to our customers but also to our employers. Winning "Masters Club","Top Product" sales award, and "Top Consultant" in North America are significant professional milestones but they don’t happen by accident; as a sales professional I am constantly upgrading my skills by attending sales courses and seminars. I try to keep my mind active and not watch too much Netflix. I am almost finished reading the Game of Thrones series of books and I might be one of the few that have.
