About Anthony Phelps

I am an accomplished, results-driven occupational safety management leader with a breadth of experience in transportation and logistics. I have a strong foundation in HR management as well as occupational safety management, compliance management, and training identification and development. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and multiple certifications including US DOT Motor Carrier Safety Compliance and OSHA 30. I also have hands-on experience in a variety of key leadership roles including (but not limited to) Regional Safety Manager, DOT Inspector, Logistics Manager, Transportation Manager, Safety Director and HR Manager at Contract Delivery Services (for the contract at FedEx Ground), and most recently, EHS Manager at OP Mobility (Formally HBPO Plastics Omnium). In addition, I am well adept at building rapport with drivers and cross functional teams, as an SME and business partner. I am well adept at working across business lines to develop and implement EHS training programs. I also bring an in-depth understanding of local, state, and federal guidelines as well as EHS practices. When I’m not busy working, I enjoy meeting new people to expand my personal network.
