About Anthony Rice

I am a highly motivated corporate and commercial lawyer, with 15+ years in-house experience as senior counsel for fast-paced, multinational organisations. From 2008 until 2022, I led the Accenture legal team responsible for M&A, JVs and other strategic opportunities in Europe. In 2022, I moved to the US to manage acquisitions and other strategic transactions for Accenture in North America and other key territories. In these roles, I have led complex deals in across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and the Americas. I have extensive experience across all Accenture service lines, in particular Cloud / SaaS, Security, Digital and Industry X. As the global legal lead for PMI, I oversaw the development of Accenture's PMI function and I supervised a team of 50 lawyers and contract managers supporting Accenture's integration processes. Since leaving Accenture, I have completed a six month project for T-Mobile supporting its M&A team with US-based acquisitions and joint ventures. Deals included the acquisition by T-Mobile of substantially all of USCellular’s wireless operations for $4.4 bn As a corporate associate at Addleshaw Goddard, I focused on acquisitions, IPOs and equity fundraisings in Europe and Africa across a broad range of sectors, including FMCG, media, financial services and mining. Experience also included secondments as a commercial lawyer with Diageo, the multinational alcoholic beverages company, based in Miami and the Cameroon. I was also seconded to Numis Securities, acting as a corporate finance adviser for various acquisitions and IPOs.
