About Anthony Richards

Mr. Anthony Richards is a Agronomist / Certified Crop Advisor with expertise in the production of cereal grains in arid and semi-arid regions of the western United States as well as Eastern Africa. Mr. Richards has over (10) experience in agriculture production and processing ranging from farm development to quality control and food safety in milling and processing. Mr. Richards has over (3) years experience as conservation planner / soil conservationist with local soil conservation districts and the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) in northern Utah, developing sustainable conservation plans for private land owners ranging from irrigation improvement projects to soil erosion management and wildlife habitat improvement. Mr. Richards strengths are in agriculture systems development, conservation based farm management, soil health improvement, irrigation water management, intergraded pest management, nutrient management, water quality protection, and quality and grading of small grains and cereals. Mr. Richards hold a Bachelor of Science Degree from Utah State University in Crop Science / Agronomy with minors in Soil Science and Crop Biotechnology. He is a Certified Crop Advisor with American Society of Agronomy. Mr. Richards is currently finishing up a Master of Science in Plant Science from Utah State University.
