About Anthony Roberto

I am a very hard worker, passionate and dedicated to my work. I started my hospitality career at a room, 5 star, full service property. I was mainly responsible for guest relations, but I would assist with larger tasks such as planning large group functions and assisting with their arrivals / departures. This includes the Liberal Convention at Fallsview Casino in 2016. After spending a number of years there, improving and expanding my skill set, I transitioned to a smaller property in the Rocky Mountains, which offered a more private and boutique experience. After spending a season there, where I gained experience dealing with smaller groups and organized tours through the Rockies, I moved on to the Walt Disney Company. I participated in a program called the Cultural Representative program, where I was trained by one of the most recognized names worldwide. Once I completed that contract, I began my cruise line career. Joining the Golden Princess in October of 2018, where I was a Junior Assistant Purser. This ship has a max occupancy of over passengers, and over crew. My main function was to assist guests financial transactions, currency exchange between multiple currencies, depending on the itinerary at that time, as well as conflict resolution, and the day to day operation of the ship. I also assisted with Shore Excursions, administration, and IT functions. Shortly after that, I joined the Pacific Princess This ship has a max passenger occupancy of 689 and 382 crew. Onboard Pacific, my title was still Junior Assistant Purser, but I functioned as the Night Manager for the majority of my 6 months onboard. I was responsible for creating revenue reports for all departments onboard, creating a In Port Manning list for our port days, as well as ensuring the safety of the passengers and crew. In addition to my day to day functions, I would assist other departments when possible, to enhance my skill set and challenge myself to learn more everyday. I am currently a Flight Attendant with Flair Airlines, where I am responsible for the safety and security of the passengers and crew onboard. My day to day functions include everything from assisting with boarding, deplaning and service, as well as pre flight checks and annual drills to ensure I remain proficient in aircraft safety and security knowledge.
