About Anthony Robson

An experienced Research Scientist, I have recently completed my MSc in Human Nutrition which is accredited by the Association for Nutrition and am now seeking suitable opportunities in Public Health Promotion, Public Health Planning, Research, Policy and Program Development. I am already an experienced, PhD qualified, research scientist having had a 12 year first career in Marine Biology where my research on edible shellfish led me to develop a keen interest in human nutrition. I have been widely published and offer a track record in providing data-driven, action oriented solutions to challenging scientific, environmental and business problems with particular interest in diet, lifestyle and disease prevention as a foundation for healthy longevity. I have had extensive experience in international and multi-cultural environments. I have since broadened my experience by taking short contracts working with Randomised Controlled Trial data at the University of Manchester Clinical Trials Unit then using the last 12 months to obtain an MSc in Human Nutrition. One of my key attributes is attention to detail, I have a track record of meeting deadlines and a strong academic background in Biological Sciences. I am currently participating in urgent research by providing a monthly blood sample and associated medical data to the UK Biobank COVID-19 study. Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Nutritics and statistical software packages.
