About Anthony Sarlo

I am currently working as a project engineer at Gilbane Building Company in the New Jersey Business Unit after recently graduating from Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. The New Jersey Business Unit provides construction management services for a vast array of markets within the construction industry including: healthcare & hospitals, life sciences, residential buildings, colleges and universities, and many more. As a project engineer I will be apart of a construction management team who will oversee construction at the Monmouth Park Racetrack. We will be tasked with: providing counsel for design, managing costs, creating forecasts and schedules, advising trades on means and methods of construction, coordinating trades, and approving constructability of design. Since 2016 I have been fortunate enough to work for prestigious heavy civil construction firms like J. Fletcher Creamer and Sons, Inc, as well as Joseph M. Sanzari, Inc. where I served on many different projects in numerous roles. In 2019, I served as the project manager of the lead service line replacements projects in Hackensack and West New York as New Jersey attempts to protect urban civilians from the poor designs practices used by past generations. In the next few years of my career I am looking to gain knowledge and refine my skills in the construction industry while also networking and branching out into other industries to be able to integrate new skills into my repertoire.
