As a Human Resources Specialist with eight years of military experience, I have transitioned into the field of data analysis and software administration. Currently working as a Data Analyst/Software Admin for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), I am passionate about leveraging my skills to pursue a career as a Penetration Tester and Security Analyst. In my role at CHI, I excel in training individuals on system usage, profile creation, and troubleshooting. I have successfully trained new staffing coordinator hires and created comprehensive data spreadsheets for directors and VPs, ensuring smooth operations and informed decision-making. To further enhance my expertise, I am currently pursuing an Associates degree in Cybersecurity at Purdue University Global. This program equips me with a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices, empowering me to address evolving digital threats effectively. In my spare time, I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge in the field of cybersecurity. I am self-teaching Linux and WireShark, gaining practical skills that will contribute to my future success as a security professional. Furthermore, I have enlisted with the Nebraska National Guard as a 25E, Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager. The skills I'll learn through this MOS will expand my technical knowledge of information technology systems and how to protect them from outsider threats.
