I'm a seasoned rheumatologist (mainly EVOO,coriander and rosemary ),in clinical practice, with an interest in moans, groans, bones, and hormones.Did you catch the use of the Oxford comma there? Still have a couple of publications in the hopper (and perhaps one non-scientific article).I read scientific literature often (and I look for consistency). A question: Why do authors still use so many abbreviations? You're mainly wasting electrons not paper.(No electrons were harmed in the writing of this profile, although several had hurt feelings). Experience with industry: consulting, national and international advisory boards and study tweaking. Sometimes the tweaking saves a lot of money. Nev Lagniappe: I know two rheumatology jokes. One ends with:"what's a nice joint like you." etc. The other is a bit ageist and sexist. And jointist, as well.
