About Anthony Summitt

16 years of experience in the Natural Resources organization at TVA. Currently leading a team of over 40 staff tasked with management of acres of public land and implementation of TVA's commercial and public Recreation program throughout the Tennessee River Watershed and seven-state power service area. This includes a focus on the execution of TVA's mission to make the Tennessee Valley the best place in the country to live, work and play. Our work is guided by TVA's Natural Resource Plan, and specifically includes execution of the objectives of the Public Land Protection, Land & Habitat Stewardship, Nuisance & Invasive Species, Water Resource Stewardship, Recreation and Ecotourism focus areas as outlined in the NRP Primary emphasis in leading this team is project management, time management and communication. Success is dependent upon ensuring performance expectations and targets are met, employees develop and build experience and knowledge in their roles, and the constant pursuit of continuous improvement opportunities and efficiencies to streamline our processes.
