I am a goal oriented person who is always looking for the next challenge. I always push for success. I am meticulous in my work and strive for a cutting edge and innovative solution. Currently I am the Grid Tied energy solutions manager of a team of engineers, bringing together and delivering green energy solutions for existing grid connected power plants using Java for new development. I develop customized battery power solutions and power operations for national and local power grids spanning the entire globe. While developing code and architecture myself, I prioritize work for, delegate to and mentor a team of engineers. Previously, I led a team of over a dozen developers developing Java and C# software for use on underground miners. I was the Core Software team Lead Developer where I designed and architected the overhaul of an entire system to be more modular and user friendly. I oversaw the development of the Java HMI for miner operators and develop software to support communications between our DDS backend and the HMI and Smart Services reporting solutions. I also oversaw process deployment for build automation, software version control and project tracking. Also I have worked in programming for simulator systems used to train nuclear power plant operators. We used a set of software tools to take a power plant database and logic and transfer it to computer code. We continually maintained and improved these tools as well as developed new solutions using the Java and C programming languages. In providing solutions to nuclear plants we saw numerous customer interactions both remote and traveling to site. We assisted with the entire process from inception and planning to integration into existing systems and on site training. I developed new software using the agile development process. I was an integral part of this process from developing requirements to code implementation through to testing and deployment.I also developed new code to deal with a constantly evolving environment that adds in new languages and libraries. I'm open to new career opportunities with room to grow. A dynamic environment that will put my skills to the test and challenge me. I'm quick to pick up new ideas and programming languages and I enjoy bringing my previous experience to a new environment that will allow me to improve existing processes and code while at the same time teaching me new ways of doing things.
