If you have got this far you might be looking for a bit more info about who I am and why I do what I do. Well, we have a lot more in common than divides us. I'm a regular person on his second marriage, blending two families and trying to be a good parent to four kids, looking after ageing parents, while building a business to keep a roof over their heads, without get overwhelmed by it all. I try to practice what I preach - most days - but sometimes forget. I've worked in the private and public sector for almost 20 years. I've led teams, been promoted numerous times and made redundant three times. I've played a wide range of sports at an amateur representative level. The older I get, the better I was. Typically, I help individuals overcome these kinds of challenges: You’re overwhelmed at the sheer volume of work piling up for you. You’re frustrated by the negativity in your own head questioning if you can really do this. You’re underconfident about your own ability and if you can really reach your big audacious goals. You’re terrified about the magnitude of your outcome goal and wondering how you can make it happen. You’re discouraged by the anxiety and pressure that is holding you back. You’re annoyed that other people are getting to their goals quicker than you. You’re burning the candle at both ends and it is impacting your health, family, and relationships. You want to have a more positive impact as a leader. I help teams overcome these kind of issues: Imagine a team where every member is an individualist, working in isolation, leading to poor integration of their tasks. Skill overlap causes inefficiencies, lack of clarity muddles project goals, and trust issues hinder collaboration. Habitual clashes and opposing objectives create friction, while personality clashes and internal rivalry sap enthusiasm. Philosophical differences divert focus, information gets withheld, and a lack of communication further disrupts the workflow. Ultimately, reduced engagement leaves the team disconnected and unproductive. WHY? Because my purpose is to help others achieve more than they thought they were capable of.
