About Anthony Thomson

I recently completed the Google IT Certification program through Merit America while working full-time as an Uber Eats delivery driver. Through the program I have gained skills in troubleshooting, IT Support, Windows and Linux Operating systems, customer service and much more. In the past I worked as a Personal Trainer for 2 years where I gained interpersonal skills with 1 on 1 training sessions as well as leadership skills with group training sessions of up to 15 people. I also worked as a caregiver where I gained communication and problem solving skills while working with clients who had mental deficiencies as well as physical disabilities. My interest in IT began when I was in 7th grade, my dad bought all the parts of a computer for me for Christmas and told me we were going to build a computer together, so we did and from then on out I had an interest in how computers worked and all of the systems and components involved. I’m very excited for a career in IT Support and know that my skills gained through Merit America and the Google IT Certification program as well as my past experiences and knowledge in troubleshooting, management, IT Support, and customer service will be valuable.
