Over 38 years experience in contracts management & procurement with clients’ & contractors’ organisations in Malaysia, Brunei, Australia, S Africa, India & Mongolia in the Oil & Gas and Mining, Minerals & Metals sectors in major capital projects & have good interpersonal qualities & team building skills. Contract management/engineering & quantity surveying experience gained in the following areas: 1) Marine & wharf construction, from commencement till completion of project: a. Land reclamation, surcharging, dredging & river slope protection; b. Spun conc pile production, piling (bore & driven); c. Precast & in-situ conc wharf beams, slabs & fenders; d. HD precast paving blocks & pavement; e. Precast conc pipe drainage; f. Goods warehouse; g. Electrical substation, flood lighting & cabling; and h. Weigh bridge. 2) Water treatment plant construction incl. large steel pipeline distribution, civil & SMP. 3) Oil & Gas sector: a. Fab. offshore platforms, helideck & others; b. SMP & pipeline; c. E&I & HVAC works; d. Maintenance & upgrade of air-cond. to offshore platform, admin buildings & camp houses; e. Jetty repairs & upgrading; f. Tank repair & refurbishment in oil terminal; g. Fire fighting system & tank bund in oil terminal; h. Drainage system improvement in oil field & housing area; i. Demolition of old power house & associated plant & equipment; j. Site preparation for hoist entry, drilling & various hook-up works; and k. Scaffolding works. 4) Mining, Minerals & Metals sector: a.
