About Anthony Tran

Passionate with over 10 years of experience in aerospace engineering at Continental Data Graphics and a Boeing Company. In 2016, I was honored to be CDG's Employee of the Quarter in Q2 and Employee of the Year. I have learned to thrive in the fast-paced environment at Boeing and ready to continue sharpening my skillset.I began my career writing Boeing installation documents for the 787. I then transitioned into creating and routing wire harnesses for the P8 Poseidon and Tanker. I was pulled to work on 737 seat, cable, and raceway drawings, and did a small stint in 737 insulation model and drawing creation. Currently I work on Boeing modifications for Boeing Legacy Aircrafts (737, 747, 767, as a project lead. In this role I have worked with customers to develop project plans, developed schedule and delegate the work to US, India, Ukraine and Russia based engineers. I am responsible for making sure the project is on time and to remove barriers. Through this I have gained experience with cert plans, working with suppliers and FAA regulations. Since everything is working towards a cost center, part of my job is to work with Russia and India counter parts as their lead. Through this experience I have led teams, training approximately 25 Engineers from India and the US to support various modification projects, assigning key tasks, reviewing progress, and providing technical assistance to these team members. Through this process I have learned the qualities needed to be a leader. I am very goal orientated and always looking to build quality into what I do. I try to see the process flow for my work so that people ahead of me won't be impeded and people behind me is able to follow.
