Innovative, critical thinking, and problem solving Division Officer who specializes in leading and managing United States Sailors in the maintenance, operations, duties and responsibilities of United States Naval Warship. For over 2 years, I have led a division of over 15 enlisted sailors and 2 Chief Petty Officers in the maintenance and operation of all related equipment and material for Strike Warfare; allowing USS Antietam to maintain its ability to continue operations and stabilize its presents in the area of Japan. As a Division Officer (DIVO), I created and maintained all Evaluations for all of the Sailors and Chiefs in Combat Missiles division, keeping continuity of all records to allow enlisted sailors to promote and pursue higher levels of education and opportunities within their naval career. Other roles as a DIVO include-Generating and submitting all Casualty Reports on all degraded and/or out of commissioned equipment-Coordinating with contractors and subject matter experts to assist in repairing faulty equipment-Conducting routine spot checks on sailors and their scheduled maintenance in order to validate the state of equipment and maintenance had been conducted in accordance with instructions-Studying, testing, and ultimately certifying in many qualifications that further enhanced my sense of leadership, safety, critical thinking, and expertise. Some of these qualifications include Combat Information Center Watch Officer, Helm Safety Officer, Engagement Control Officer, and Officer of the Deck.
