About Anthony Worman

While in college I created and hosted the university's first global an international music program on WCUR. I grew their "World" music library. After that, I learned to teach English to nonnative English learners in multiple countries. I continued to teach English through cultural media and current social topics in NYC for several years. After moving west, I invested time in supporting and valuing public spaces at both national park and university library levels. The value of shared spaces is integral to building community. I have and continue to support communities intersecting at global and local levels through education, language learning, culture, music, and food. WRITING: Nonfiction; essay, travel writing, history writing; Fiction; novella, short story RESEARCH: Conducted archival research at USC Doheny Memorial Library (South Korea's Gwangju Uprising); Montana State's Archives & Special Collections (Frank and John Craighead Collection).
