About Anthony Young

Anthony is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Certified Healthcare Quality Professional with over 20 years of RN experience. He has a passion for palliative and hospice care as demonstrated by the additional clinical hours in palliative and hospice care during his NP training. He has a keen understanding of the importance of shared decision-making, goals of care conversations, and holistic care from an interdisciplinary team. An additional passion is developing the next generation of nurses as a nurse educator. He has over 5 years of experience as a nurse educator at the pre-licensure level. More recently, he has added to his nurse educator portfolio educating graduate-level nurses. His role as a nurse educator is his living legacy.
