About Antoine Charles

I'm a Security-focused Network Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience across NOC, SOC, and enterprise infrastructure environments. I specialize in Tier 1.5–Tier 2 support with deep expertise in firewall monitoring (Palo Alto, Fortinet), VPN diagnostics, BGP tunnel triage, and packet analysis using Wireshark. My background includes supporting federal and public trust environments (CJIS-cleared) and managing multi-vendor LAN/WAN setups with vendors such as Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, SonicWall, Sophos and Ubiquiti.Skilled in SIEM alert triage (Splunk), endpoint security solutions (SentinelOne, Webroot, Huntress), and operational documentation within ITIL-aligned systems such as ConnectWise Manage and ServiceNow. I’ve contributed to SOP creation, incident escalation workflows, and troubleshooting across VPN, WAF, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP-based monitoring platforms like Auvik.Currently pursuing CCNA certification, I bring a strong foundation in TCP/IP, VLANs, structured cabling, port security, and disaster recovery (Veeam, Unitrends, StorageCraft). I’m ready to support 24x7 environments, remote SOC/NOC operations, and scale enterprise security posture through proactive resolution and system hardening. Now even though Information Technology is what I do—and what I love— I’ll admit, I’ve always been a little flirtatious with Entertainment Technology. From live AV setups to post-production workflows, I bring creative edge to technical reliability. Whether it’s deploying secure VPN tunnels or fine-tuning speaker arrays at an event, I’m in my element.I take pride in being a team player who works efficiently and communicates clearly. I adapt quickly, learn constantly, and thrive under pressure. Whatever I do in life, I make sure to do it with a SMILE!My hobbies include: Sports (Sadly I'm a NY Knicks & Giants fan), music (R&B Soul), anime (DBZ, Naruto & One Piece), video games (Dreamcast was my favorite console), and of course technology
