About Antoine Masse

I received the B.S. degree in fundamental mathematics, the M.S. degree in applied mathematics with specialization in image processing and statistics, and the PhD. Degree in image processing applied to remote sensing from the Université de Toulouse (France) in 2008, 2010, and 2013 respectively. My research is focused on automation and optimization of image processing chain (land cover mapping, cartographic visualization, big data processing). As a postdoc researcher for the French Space Agency (CNES), I work on several missions: Pleiades (VHR optical images), Spot World Heritage (re-processing of Spot 1-5 data), Sentinel 1 and 2, etc. Another significant part of my work concerns the scientific watch and valorization: evaluation and reviewer committees for international remote sensing journals and research funding, chairman of international conferences of remote sensing, synthesis and science popularization of works for the scientific and non-scientific communities interested in image processing and remote sensing.
