About Antoine Richard

With over 17 years of experience in the tourism industry, I am a passionate advocate for fair and responsible travel. As the co-founder and directeur général of Double Sens, I lead a team of experts who design and deliver authentic and meaningful experiences for travelers across 30 destinations in South America, Africa, and Asia. My mission is to create positive social and environmental impacts through tourism, and to promote intercultural exchange and mutual learning. I bring a diverse perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the field, having traveled extensively and lived in several countries. I am also a member of the executive committee of FairMoove, a platform that connects and supports fair tourism actors and initiatives. As the president of Agir pour un Tourisme Responsable (ATR), I contribute to the development and recognition of the responsible tourism sector in France and abroad. I work with a network of tour operators who share the same values and commitments, and who adhere to a rigorous charter of quality and ethics. I also represent ATR in various forums and events, and collaborate with other stakeholders, such as public authorities, media, associations, and academics. Through my roles at Double Sens and ATR, I leverage my skills in project management, marketing, and entrepreneurship to create innovative and sustainable solutions for the tourism industry.
