About Anton Andersson

I research the emergence and evolution of markets. In particular, I am interested in understanding: i) the strategies organizations employ to introduce innovations that do not fit into established market categories, ii) under what conditions such novelty is accepted, and the role state actors play in market development. In my work, I build upon insights from both sociology and cognitive psychology and use a mix of quantitative and qualitative research methods.Before returning to academia, I worked as a strategy consultant and advised international companies on strategic topics such as corporate- and business unit strategy, commercial due diligence, product innovation, and new market opportunities. I have extensive international experience from my time living in Canada, Denmark, Singapore, Sweden, and Portugal.
