About Anton Beletskii

I'm a hard worker who loves science and teaching. My goal is to use combination of Project Management experience and Biology expertise to develop new assays, technologies, and products for Biotech and Pharma R&D. I have been blessed to work on some of the most interesting problems in science. During my Ph.D. studies I have discovered a new class of mutations caused by transcription. A flurry of papers in the last 15 years reported that these mutations are responsible for gene evolution in many species as well as for antibody maturation in humans. My fascination with biology had fully matured during postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, where I developed a novel technique for mapping functional regions in non-coding RNA in collaboration with Applied Biosystems. Being engaged with a Biotech company during my postdoc naturally led to a career in industry. My career journey with Abbott Pharma, General Electric Global Research, and Liquidia Technologies allowed me to wear many hats and learn a dizzying variety of things. Currently I am a Manager, Process Sciences at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Albany, New York. I love to connect with new people.
