About Anton Brink

I have more than 20 years experience as an on-air host, reporter and producer in broadcasting. I am currently presenting the breakfast show from 06:00 – 09:00 am Mondays – Fridays on Radio Tygerberg 104 FM, which is a Christian radio station and currently the nr. 5 Top Community radio station in the country with 187 listeners. A few years back, i was director of music and responsibilities included I have 10 years’ experience as an in- house presenter of a national store chain group, The Sound of Ackermans where I play music (DJ), announce specials and offer entertainment to shoppers via the in store radio. I was initially employed as a freelance presenter and later joined the Phadema breakfast show as an assistant presenter for the employees of Ackermans. I am also a Professional Voice Artist and I do voice recordings for in-house advertising at various chain stores, radio stations, television channels, on-line training courses and also one of South Africa’s biggest shopping malls. My voice is used for one of Cape Town’s biggest tourist attractions which is called the City Sightseeing bus (hop on bus) where I give the history on some of the attractions on the bus route in the Cape Town area. Master of ceremonies – I am often invited to be the MC of various events. My most recent performance was at the Michael W. Smith concert in Cape Town with guests. I also had the opportunity to be MC at one of Cape Town’s largest venues where there were more than 25 people. In 2018 together with a colleague, we did a live broadcast in Cape Town and Bloemfontein at the largest Christian event in history called “It’s Time” where over 2 million people attended. I was recently asked to help write a book for men with the topic “ The time is now” The book is published by one of South Africa’s largest Christian publishers and I had the opportunity to write one page in this book that are launched in June 2019.
