About Anton Hayward

Anton is an international Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. He is a highly experienced business consultant specializing in international cross border operations as well as the not-for-profit industry which is very close to his heart. In July 2019, Anton decided to pursue opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industry, an area that has always been a personal love. He co-founded HAMU Hospitality and Tourism Group LLC. and the company embarked on its first international investment by acquiring a luxury five star guesthouse. He is a Partner Emeritus at Bennett Thrasher(BT) where he served for 15 years (11 years as partner) in BT's Financial Reporting and Assurance Practice. Anton headed up three BT practice areas: International, Not-for-Profits and Captive Insurance. He has been involved with companies in the real estate, distribution, captive insurance, insurance, healthcare, hospitality, entertainment, broadcasting, motion picture, insurance and service industries. He serviced companies from all over Europe, Middle East, North and South America, Asia and Africa reporting in IFRS and requiring ISA audits. Anton led and performed many acquisition assistance and due diligence engagements, many cross border. Anton served on various boards of directors and trustees and held main board appointments of three publicly traded companies. He also held various CFO positions during his professional career of more than thirty five years. He graduated with two Masters Degrees in Finance and Accounting, started his career with KPMG and is a Chartered Accountant, a US Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA, New York State Society of CPA's and Georgia Society of CPA's. Anton is and has been involved in various Chambers of Commerce. He also made numerous presentations and public appearances as a financial and industry expert during conferences and international film and television markets and acted as associate producer of a number of motion pictures and television series.
