About Antonia Mintoff

Since finishing university I have been working for one of the main fashion retailers Accessorize. Starting as a seasonal sales assistant I have been afforded the opportunity to enhance my skills which enabled me to progress into a supervisor at one of the top 30 Accessorize stores in the UK. I was then transferred to a different store to take on the responsibilities of the branch manager due to her departure from the company. Due to the management team being so small I was for a few months the only manager holding the store. This allowed me to grow as a person, learn more about the business and take on more responsibilities such as train the sales assistants with new sales techniques that are introduced in order to achieve set targets which in the current economic climate is difficult. In addition to my job I am an active member of the scout association as an assistant cub scout leader for my local group and as district scout network commissioner which involves enriching the lives of young people in scouting and ensuring they have a fun and informative program so they can achieve skills for life.
