About Antonio Adigrat

Actually I'm in STL as responsible for quality in Europe.Since September 2021 to Jun 2023, I have been responsible, in Prysmian, for South Europe region, for Telecom Quality and Continuous Improvement (Telecom and Energy) in Quality, I'm also in charge for Supplier Quality for the region.I've been HSE-Q Manager in Prysmian Battipaglia Plant of Optical Fiber production until 31/Aug/2021Until 31/May/2018 I was Process Control Manager in the same plant.My previous experience was in R&D (optical fiber innovation, with many international patents) and installation and start-up of new machines for optical fibe production.My main competencies, developed in more than 21 years, are Continuous Improvement, process control with SPC's techinques, lean manufacturing, process and product development, project and people management.In the last 4 years in optical fiber unit I have been the leader of inter-company (international) project and participate to the start-up of a new optical fiber plant in Europe, and I developed a new tool to integrate "Statistical Process Control" and "Out of Control Action Plan" rules to speed up the reaction to issues and simplify the flow of action to go back in control.I'm Lean6Sigma Black Belt (3 big projects completed, more than 10 GB and BB projects mentored and mentoring) and I've partecipate to a Reliability Excellence Fundamentals workshop in Douvrin (France) and to an Advanced Manufacturing Training in Mudanya (Turkey).I am strongly results oriented and I'm always ready to assume responsibilities.I love science and I spent my free time to study astronomy and statistics theory and tools.
