About Antonio Bottos

As a second-year medical student at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (URSMD), I am dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health conditions. I have over five years of experience in working with patients and families in various clinical and research settings, using my skills and certifications as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Before joining starting medical school, I worked as a Senior Psychiatric Technician and a Family Advocate at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where I provided direct patient care, crisis intervention, and advocacy services for individuals with complex behavioral and developmental needs. I also conducted a research project on neuropsychological assessment scoring procedures, which resulted in a manuscript that I am currently finalizing. My goal is to become a physician who can provide inclusive and compassionate care for underserved populations and enhance the quality of life for people with neurodevelopmental disorders and mental health issues.
