An electrical engineer with international experience (South and Central America, Europe, Asia and North Africa ) of working on construction and commissioning of large projects for the minerals an building materials industry as well as maintenance/operation of cement plants and deployment of Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT) for predictive maintenance purposes. Extensive experience of upgrading and modernising obsolete electrical/instrumentation installations. Including but not limited to installation, commissioning and maintenance of digital medium voltage switchgears, medium voltage variable speed drives (ABB and low voltage VSDs (ABB ACS800 and ACS880), intelligent LV MCCs (e.g. Siemens SIVACON with SIMOCODE PRO V PN). Installation and maintenance of medium voltage(11kV, 6.6kV, 4.16kV and 3.3kV) induction motors including full load tests for creation of baseline. Deployment of sensors and instruments for condition based monitoring of critical assets, on premises and cloud based. Integration of Profinet and Profibus networks using Siemens PLCs(S7 1500 and S7 1200) and comm modules as gateways for protocol conversion. Installation and configuration of IO-Link instrumentation and IO-Link masters for connection to Profinet networks. Proficient in the necessary pieces of software to accomplish the above mentioned, e.g. Siemens Step 7 TIA Portal, SIMOCODE ES Professional, ABB DriveWindow, ifm LR Device, ETAP, MS Project, SEE Electrical, etc. Management of OPEX and CAPEX for budget control. Preparation of CAPEX applications. Bilingual (Spanish-English) and professional working French.
