About Antonio Davis
Antonio Davis has done his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gulbarga University in 1985 and MS (by Research) in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras in 1988. He joined GTRE (DRDO) in 1988 and worked there till 2001 in the after burner and exhaust group and was involved in the heat transfer analysis of Kaveri Engine after burner system and performance prediction of convergent-divergent propelling nozzles. While working in GTRE he obtained his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from IISc, Bangalore for his work in the area of computational fluid dynamics for internal flows. Subsequently he worked as Principal consultant in Infotech Enterprises Limited (Presently Cyient Ltd), providing engineering analytical support to Pratt & Whitney Canada aircraft engines and as research coordinator for P & WC research programs in CSIR-NAL and IIT Bombay. In December 2013 he joined IIAEM, Jain (Deemed-to-be-university) as a professor and currently is the Director-in-Charge, IIAEM. He is involved in teaching and research in the field of aircraft propulsion, gas dynamics, heat transfer and CFD and published several papers in conferences and journals.
