About Antonio Delre

I am an environmental engineer with PhD degree. Currently, I research and analyze sustainable production and consumption with emphasis on environmental oriented regulation. I analyze policy options, instruments and approaches and their impact on different technical, socio-economic and organizational contexts constellations. I have a strong experience on- emission quantification of greenhouse gases (GHG), such as methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) from anthropogenic activities- carbon dioxide (CO2) accounting – carbon footprint- environmental assessment using the life cycle assessment (LCA) approach- waste management. Alongside with research, I have experience in consultancy and teaching. I have strong passion for environmental issues, which I always face with a holistic approach. I stand for innovation and technology promoting a forward-looking lifestyle based on equity among people, and harmony between humans and nature. I am a strong supporter of teamwork for a more productive and efficient working hours. I value synergy of multicultural and multidisciplinary teams with clever communication skills. After my PhD defense, I took a gap year to travel around Europe, in particular the Mediterranean area. I enjoyed its nature, historical heritage and cultures.
