Project Cost Manager and Electro‑Mechanical Engineer with nearly 20 years of experience delivering complex capital, mining, power generation, and industrial infrastructure projects across the Middle East and Canada. My career spans the full project lifecycle, combining deep engineering foundations, hands‑on site execution, procurement, estimation, and senior‑level project cost management.I began my career in power generation and oil & gas environments, working on rotating and static equipment, generators, pressure vessels, and prototype power systems. I then spent more than a decade in electro‑mechanical engineering roles supporting large infrastructure and industrial projects, where I gained extensive experience in site execution, MEP coordination, procurement, estimation, and project engineering. This period provided strong exposure to construction methodologies, subcontractor management, technical bid evaluations, commissioning, and quality and safety control on site.Building on this execution‑driven background, I transitioned into cost estimation, project controls, and cost management roles, supporting capital projects from early studies and feasibility through execution and close‑out. I have acted as a technical authority for cost estimation and project controls, providing independent review, validation, and approval of estimates, forecasts (EAC / ETC), cash flows, and cost reports, while ensuring alignment between technical scope, schedules, physical progress, and contractual commitments.In my current role as Project Cost Manager, I am accountable for financial planning, cost control governance, forecasting, and the overall financial performance of projects. I support senior management with reliable financial insights, manage cost risks and uncertainties, and enforce QA/QC standards for all financial deliverables. My multidisciplinary background allows me to effectively bridge engineering, procurement, construction, and finance, strengthening cost reliability and supporting informed decision‑making.I am particularly effective in roles where cost management is a strategic function, contributing directly to project performance, financial visibility, and long‑term value creation across mining and industrial projects.
