About Antonio Gutierrez

Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineer with a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering and 18+ years of international experience designing, analyzing, and improving complex mechanical systems. My work sits at the intersection of engineering design, simulation, automation, and real-world industrial application.I have led and contributed to the design of mechanical equipment, tooling, and prototypes; applied CAD/CAE, FEM, and experimental methods to understand system behavior; and translated data into robust, scalable engineering solutions. My background in manufacturing and asset reliability gives me a practical perspective on how designs perform under demanding operating conditions—and how to make them better.I enjoy tackling technically challenging problems involving mechanical design, advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and system optimization. I’m particularly interested in engineering and design-focused roles where analytical rigor, hands-on problem solving, and cross-disciplinary thinking are valued.Core strengths include CAD/CAE, mechanical design and analysis, prototyping, automation and controls, data-driven engineering, and collaboration across engineering, R&D, and operations teams.
