About Antonio Notarbartolo

Presently I am employed as a Manager of Business and Enterprise Applications At the City of Thunder Bay CIT department. I am responsible for the team which delivers all City of Thunder Bay applications both internal and external. My team is in charge of developing the city’s Digital Strategy. As a Manager I- Liaise with other sections in establishing priorities, preparing task schedules, coordinating resources, and implementing plans related to installing and maintaining telecommunication equipment/services- Manage new initiatives and deploy new products to ensure future success of the organization- Plan jobs and direct BEA staff for the installation, development and maintenance of internal applications - Ensure the preparation of required information for projects, as well as the accuracy and completeness of associated tasks and documentation- Responsible for the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies, procedures, standards, rules and regulations governing the division’s activities and ensures they are communicated to all staff- Responsible for continual process improvement including adopting best work practices, and the investigation and analysis of new equipment or technological improvements to increase productivity and efficiencies- Assess section staffing levels, makes recommendations on complement and organizational structure, participates in recruitment processes, and makes effective hiring decisions- Responsible for the supervision of staff including, development of employees, identifying training requirements, ensuring that training records are current for all staff, administration of the collective agreement, and assisting with performance management, discipline and termination decisions. I graduated from the Computer Programmer Analyst program at Confederation College. I worked at Tbaytel in various positions for over 23 years.
