About Antonio Roade

I am a sustainability specialist with academic background in environmental science and environmental systems analysis. Through the years I have learned that the most important role for a sustainability expert is to understand the business and its organisational context -the big picture. Only then one can design the tools and incentives to enable a vision that will engage all key stakeholders. My purpose is to build and to explain the business case for sustainability within organisations - go beyond "the right thing to do"; and to measure the impacts, not just the outputs. I am convinced that businesses, and trade, can be a force for good and the most efficient and resilient way to improve the lives of people, and protect the biodiversity across the globe. But only if we see sustainability from an economically and politically inclusive point of view.
