Strategic Energy Leader | 15+ yrs in Crisis & Reputation Mgmt, Open Innovation | Global & C-level trusted advisor | Carbon Markets I began my career in the CO₂ markets, working on business development in both primary and secondary markets, collaborating with industrial players, financial institutions, and multilateral international organizations, at a time when Enel was the largest private player in the carbon credit market. I developed a deep understanding of EU policies, commodity markets, and regulatory dynamics, with strong international exposure in both emerging and developed countries. My time in the CEO and Chairman's office at Enel Group allowed me to gain a broad strategic vision, working on business, management, and lobbying dossiers as well as high-level institutional and media engagements. I had the opportunity to closely observe—and contribute to—a major leadership transition, experiencing firsthand a significant phase of organizational, cultural, and strategic change management at the Group level. In Enel X, I led the Partnership & Startup unit, operating at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation. Applying open innovation principles within a newly established and fast-evolving organization, I was exploiting opportunities with startups to create digital and innovative services for industrial clients, public administrations, consumers, and financial services. I currently lead the Real Time Intelligence & Strategy unit at Enel Group, where I am responsible for developing and coordinating strategies and analyses to strengthen the company’s positioning on critical or potentially sensitive issues, working closely with key internal stakeholders. Previously, I was Head of Communication Crisis Prevention and Management, directly overseeing reputational-related issues in Italy and coordinating responses across all Group countries, ensuring consistency and speed in communication responses and promoting best practices globally. My approach is characterized by strategic creativity, independent thinking, and attention to quality.
