About Antonio Vizcaino

I have worked in the development of a signalling unit for UMTS testing, specifically in PHY layer. This activity provided me with a valuable knowledge and experience on mobile technologies. This knowledge was increased with my following position as certification project manager, involving different mobile technologies (2G, 3G, LTE), certification scopes (mainly PTCRB and GCF), and activities (conformance testing, operator acceptance, Field Trials testing). I gained experience with almost all kinds of mobile devices: USB modems, handsets, modules, laptops and a wide range of integrated devices (domotics, automotive, etc.). Afterwards I worked as Technical Office manager for DEKRA Network Operator Services, providing support to both operators and DEKRA acceptance laboratories to maintain and develop the applicable acceptance test plans, and also supporting the business development. I'm now using my 20+ years experience to promote and create innovative certification and testing services for MNOs, and learning a lot about Cybersecurity. Specialties: MNO acceptance, project management, mobile communications, conformance testing, Field Trials testing, certification of mobile devices, certification of automotive devices, new technologies
