About Antons Patlins

Antons Patlins (latv. Antons Patļins); was born in Riga — Latvian scientist, researcher, expert, consultant, artist (painter, actor with more than 20 years of local and international experience on the stage, awarded with a number of diplomas in different competitions), inventor, trainer, lecturer, motivator - a vivid example of the “universal man”. He is an member, the author of more than 100 scientific publications. The scientific interests are related but not limited to climate change, environment, sustainability, sustainable development of transport systems, control algorithms, IoT solutions and devices development in the field of electrical engineering; research are connected with the improvement of electric energy effectiveness in industrial electronics and electric transport. Sustainability and motivation in education process are also in the field of interest. More than 80 students have developed their Bachelor, Engineering and Master Theses under the supervision of Dr.sc.ing. Antons Patlins. He is an expert of Latvian Council of Science of the Latvian Academy of Science in the fields of: Electrical engineering, electronics, information and communication technologies, as well as in education sciences. In 2023 he is successfully completed his post-doctoral project at Riga Technical University.
